Promoting the ecological and digital transition in the working world with TRANSFORM

It is well known that the primary sector, notably in areas such as  energy, tourism and agribusiness, is undergoing a period of crisis, which also affects the people working within it. At the same time, digital and sustainability-related skills are increasingly in demand, making it challenging to keep pace with the rapidly evolving labour market.

TRANSFORM was born to support small and medium-sized companies and their employees by enhancing their green and digital skills. The project’s ultimate aim is to promote the involvement of local, regional and national authorities in the definition of policy guidelines capable of strategically addressing the needs for skills development and retraining.

One of the main TRANFORM outcomes will be the Smart Skills Intelligence Portal, a digital portal containing various learning modules as well as resources and tools aimed at strengthening the career guidance services offered by employers of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.

TRANSFORM was officially launched in April, with the first consortium meeting held in May in Palermo, Italy. The research phase is currently underway, focusing on the individual needs of workers, as well as the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises in personnel management. The results of this analysis will be crucial for developing current and truly effective training courses.

TRANSFORM will soon be available on social media, but in the meantime, you can follow the updates on LAND Impresa Sociale's website and social pages.
