Cultivating STEM: agriculture as a learning laboratory in primary schools

EVECSA free workshop (in EU School 2026)

Agriculture is one of the sectors most exposed to the effects of climate change, but it is also an area where concrete solutions can be explored to build more resilient and sustainable systems.

Climate-Smart Agriculture promotes practices that reduce environmental impact, adapt to changing climate conditions and contribute to food security.

Building on these themes, the workshop offers a hands-on experience to explore how agriculture can become an educational laboratory and an entry point into STEM and sustainability for children.

The workshop will be an opportunity to share new teaching approaches, explore the links between agriculture, climate and science, and bring an engaging and stimulating activity into the classroom.
