Sustainable Steps – Promoting sustainable behaviours and practices among young people

In recent years, sustainability has been a frequent topic of discussion. Among the most pressing issues, environmental concerns are becoming increasingly important on a global scale. Young people will be the ones facing this issue most directly in the future and, often, they are also among the most concerned about environmental issues.

Sustainable Steps aims to provide young people, educators, and youth workers with knowledge and skills related to the three pillars of sustainability: environmental, economic, and social.

The project not only aims to promote sustainability in all its forms, but also to create a network of young people, educators, and youth workers who can become true agents of change within their communities. Commitment to social inclusion and the environment is essential to building a better future, and Sustainable Steps is dedicated to providing the tools to achieve this.

The project website is already active, and among the main resources, there will soon be a Toolkit that includes a set of 30 microlearning activities designed for young people and youth workers, through which they can explore the three pillars of sustainability in an interactive way. Another key initiative of Sustainable Steps consists of a series of inclusive and sustainable gardening workshops that will engage diverse young people and promote the development of green skills. The project team invites everyone to join this journey by actively participating in the initiatives and spreading the principles of sustainability.
