The way we move through cities directly impacts our environment, our health and our quality of life.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As the <a href=\"https:\/\/impresasocialeland.org\/en\/project\/greenmobility\/\">GREENMOBILITY<\/a> project draws to a close, it offers an opportunity to reflect on the meaningful strides made toward creating more sustainable urban environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Launched in 2022 as part of the Erasmus+ Programme, GREENMOBILITY has been dedicated to transforming urban mobility in line with the<a href=\"https:\/\/commission.europa.eu\/strategy-and-policy\/priorities-2019-2024\/european-green-deal_en\"> European Green Deal<\/a>. By equipping citizens, organisations and local authorities with innovative resources, tools and training, the project has fostered the adoption of practices that prioritise sustainability in the face of contemporary urban challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project\u2019s key outputs are accessible on the <a href=\"https:\/\/green4mobility.eu\/\"><strong>GREENMOBILITY<\/strong><\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/green4mobility.eu\/\"><strong> website<\/strong><\/a>, a repository that <strong>will remain active<\/strong> beyond the initiative\u2019s conclusion. These resources include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/green4mobility.eu\/media\/greenmobility-learner-handbook-en.pdf\"><strong>The Learners Handbook<\/strong><\/a>: A detailed guide to urban mobility, offering insights into contemporary mobility challenges and sustainable solutions. Available in all partner languages, the Handbook now features an<a href=\"https:\/\/green4mobility.eu\/resources\/learners-handbook\/\"> <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/green4mobility.eu\/resources\/learners-handbook\/\"><strong>interactive index<\/strong><\/a>, which allows users to easily navigate and download chapters that are relevant to their specific interests.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/greenmobilitycollabplatform.eu\/\"><strong>The Collaborative Platform<\/strong><\/a>: A space for exchanging best practices and ideas on sustainable urban mobility, featuring success stories, events and community dialogues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/greenmobilitycollabplatform.eu\/intro\"><strong>The Self-Assessment Toolkit<\/strong><\/a>: A practical tool designed to help individuals evaluate and improve their mobility habits, fostering greener commuting choices. The Toolkit is now available for free in <strong>all partner languages<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of the final phase of the project, all partner countries hosted <strong>General Training Sessions <\/strong>to raise awareness and foster discussion about sustainable urban mobility.<strong> LAND<\/strong> hosted two successful sessions on October 16 and 17, which provided<strong> practical insights into how urban mobility can be improved through collaborative efforts and active citizenship<\/strong>. Participants also shared local case studies, sparking discussions on how to implement sustainable mobility solutions in their own communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Final Dissemination Events <\/strong>of GREENMOBILITY were organised in all 5 partner countries during the month of November. Specifically, the final event organised by LAND took place on November 26 at the<strong> EPYC<\/strong> (European Palermo Youth Center) in Palermo. The <strong>roundtable discussion<\/strong> gathered diverse stakeholders to share insights on sustainable urban mobility in the region. The conversation explored different perspectives \u2013 social, economic, political and cultural \u2013 demonstrating the<strong> importance of dialogue in shaping sustainable solutions<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A proud milestone for the consortium was the recognition of Prof. \u017divil\u0117 Stankevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117, the coordinator of GREENMOBILITY from Kaunas University of Technology. Her exceptional leadership within the project earned her an <strong>award<\/strong> during the International Project Management Day celebrations.
