TRANSFORM aims to improve the skills of workers, employees and Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in the key sectors for the green and digital transition: energy, agri-food and tourism. It also aims to strengthen collaboration and promote the co-creation process between the public and private sectors, through a Living Lab approach to align training with the labour market.

Beneficiaries

  • Adult workers/learners
  • Employers, Career counsellors and employment agencies
  • Micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises
  • Public authorities

Objectives

  • To support the upskilling and reskilling of workers from declining industries, as well as unemployed or inactive individuals, by guiding them into high-demand roles within the green and digital economy, through innovative public-private collaboration models.
  • To enhance career guidance services provided by MSME employers, career advisors, and employment agencies, by increasing their awareness of job opportunities emerging from the green and digital transitions.
  • To strengthen workforce planning, talent development, and skills-building strategies within MSMEs.
  • To collaborate with local, regional, and national authorities in developing policy recommendations that strategically address current and future reskilling and upskilling needs.

Actions

  • TRANSFORM will deliver modular online training to 210 workers and a Career Guidance program for 70 MSMEs’ employers/professionals.
  • Validated outcomes will be made freely available on the Smart Skills Intelligence Portal, supporting skills gap assessments.
  • Policy recommendations will be developed through stakeholder engagement and policy analysis to influence 7 regional strategies.

  • 70 participants completing the Career Guidance Excellence program;
